2”x48” Ceramic Sanding belt is made of premium ceramic grains affixed to a durable cloth backing using resin on resin bonding for a longer life. The Ceramic grains used are a man-made synthetic grain that stays sharp throughout its useful life by fracturing instead of grinding down. These ceramic sanding belts even have non loading properties that prevent gumming up better than zirconia or aluminum oxide belts. The grinding-inducing additional layer decreases grinding temperature to protect both the belt and the material being worked out. In fact, the ceramic sanding belt is so long lasting that it outlasts the already long life zirconia belt by 50%. These 2×48 ceramic belts are simply the top quality sanding belt on the market today. They are designed to be attached to a 2×48 portable belt sander, 2×48 benchstand grinder, 2×48 backstand belt grinder, 2×48 horizontal/vertical belt grinder, or knife belt sanders and are ideal for jobs on with mild and carbon steel, stainless, cobalt, chrome, inconel and titanium.These ceramic sanding belts in 2 inch by 48 inch dimensions come in 36 grit and 40 grit for extreme grinding, 60 grit and 80 grit for substantial stock removal but less aggressive sanding, and 120 grit for more fine finishing and blending applications.
